A week passed in a blink of an eye and Jiang Fei gained a massive reward from the game and nothing in real life.
Almost every luck that he had was spent on the game.
That was probably the reason why he had not managed to find any parts of the ship these few days.

“Captain, the first batch of Interceptors had been completed,” said 0541.

It was already past noon during the day when 0541 reported some good news.

“Nice.
Box them up, the way the people in Planet Namek do,” said Jiang Fei.
He did not want Han Tianyu to know anything about the almighty right.
Hence, he planned to hand it to Han Tianyu, boxed and all, as if he had found it as part of the remains of the alien crash.

“No problem.
Captain, I have a suggestion for you.
It has been some time now and your body had fully adjusted to the Bio-Potion.
It is high time for you to take the second bottle of Bio-Potion!” said 0541.

“So soon…?” Jiang Fei frowned.
Even though having stronger powers was nice and all, the pain that he had to endure after drinking the potion was so much so that he had doubts of taking it now!

“It is only a suggestion.
It is completely up to you if you want to take it or not,” said 0541.

“Might as well.
I will have to take it sooner or later…” said Jiang Fei as he gave in to 0541’s advice.
The pain of growing stronger was a must! No pain! No gain!

“Ariel, I need you to cast a protective barrier.
I will be taking a special potion that will increase my strength.
I will have to experience pain like no other after I take the potion.
In no circumstances that you interfere with the process.
I just need to ensure this on my own,” said Jiang Fei as he held Ariel’s hand close to his face.

“Very will! I will make sure that not even a fly would disturb you!” said Ariel.

“Alrighty then! Let the pain begin!” cried Jiang Fei as he uncorked the bottle.

“Wait!” cried Ariel as she rushed to his side,

“What’s wrong? Is there someone here? Are they Lycans?” cried Jiang Fei.

Ariel shook her head and planted a kiss on Jiang Fei’s forehead.

“Do your best!” Ariel smiled.

“Ah… Thanks.
I needed that,” said Jiang Fei as he drank the potion.

Not two seconds after he had emptied the bottle, Jiang Fei dropped the bottle and started to writhe on the floor.

Due to the intense pain, Jiang Fei twisted and turned on the floor whilst grunting loudly.
The pain was so intense that he could not stop sweating.
Ariel, who was standing by the side, could not help but try to help him.

“NO!” cried Jiang Fei when he noticed that Ariel was approaching him.

“DON’T HELP ME!” Jiang Fei roared from the top of his lungs.

“B-But…”

“PLEASE! LET ME- ARGHHH!”

It was as Jiang Fei feared.
In all previous attempts at drinking the potion, there was no one but 0541 keeping him company.
That was why 0541 had never warned Jiang Fei.
However, this was the first time he had someone with him.
Ariel was so worried that her heart ached so much whenever Jiang Fei rolled on the floor, screaming in agony.
It hurt so much to see her beloved writhing in pain.
There was even a point where she just wanted to make Jiang Fei pass out to let the pain drown away.

Even though it was an act of mercy to spare Jiang Fei from the pain, it was because of the pain that allowed Jiang Fei to train himself.
To train his willpower! With great power, one must have equivalent great willpower.
Without it, one would not be able to control one’s own power! Their mind would collapse!

The best example of having one losing their mind was none other than Phoenix.
It was a mysterious case.
Phoenix was born due to the intense power given to Jenny through experimentation.
Jenny did not have strong willpower to control the immense power that was inside her and due to that, Phoenix was born, unconsciously.
As a result, when the power that was inside her had gone out of control, their mind collapsed, resulting in an empty shell.

Jiang Fei was gaining power, the same way how Phoenix got hers.
However, unlike Phoenix, Jiang Fei’s method was methodologically given.
A step by step process which allowed Jiang Fei to adjust to a new stage of power by enduring an immense amount of pain.
Every time he wanted to reach the next stage, Jiang Fei would have to go through the pain.
Through that pain, Jiang Fei was able to train his willpower and that was the essence of one’s true strength.

If Ariel were to give into her kindness and help Jiang Fei by making him unconscious, all of the work that 0541 had cultivated for so long would be wasted.
That was why Jiang Fei had warned Ariel to not help him.

Even though 0541 had informed Jiang Fei that the potion created from the flesh of the Level 5 Alien Beast was divided equally, it was not the truth.
The previous potion had only contained 40% of the total volume.
The potion that Jiang Fei had just drunk was more than the previous one! It was only natural that he would have to suffer longer through more pain! However! More pain, more gain! The longer he had to suffer, the “better” he would feel!

“Do your best! I am here for you! Darling!” Ariel cried as loud as she could.
She wanted to encourage Jiang Fei as he suffers through the pain.
It was the least she could do since Jiang Fei had warned her.

While Jiang Fei was screaming in agony, Ariel continuously cried to encourage him.
This went on for at least 8 hours.

During the entire process, Jiang Fei’s power was wrecking havoc.
The power inside him changed elements rapidly.
When Metal power emerged out of the chaos, the slice mark appeared on the walls of the igloo as if something had just sliced them.
When Ice power emerged, the sweat that was all over Jiang Fei crystallized to form something like an ice armor.
Even the air froze up and became snowflakes around Jiang Fei.
At one point, the air around Jiang Fei completed turned into ice, forming a coffin-like box around Jiang Fei.
When the power of Fire emerged, the ice box around Jiang Fei instantly vaporized.
This went on for a long time as other elements came into play.

“Darling! You must endure! You can do it! I believe you!” cried Ariel.
She had been at it for so long that her throat had started to bleed.

“Ack… Argh… Cough…”

Jiang Fei finally stopped writhing in agony and stopped moving for a bit.

“Darling! Are you alright!?” cried Ariel.
Her voice had turned husky from screaming too long.

“Urgh… Yeah… I’m fine… I just…need to catch my breath…” said Jiang Fei as he laid completely on his back.

“Em… Just rest.
Rest all you want…” said Ariel as her tears dropped from her cheeks.
It was torturing for both Jiang Fei and Ariel.
To be fair, Ariel was the one that had it worse.
To see your loved one suffering and yet there was nothing that you could do to help…

An hour later, Jiang Fei had rested enough to get up from the floor but not enough to stand on his own.
He had to lean against the ice wall or he would fall to the ground.
He took out some food and beverages from the ring.
Even so, he was still too weak to chew.
All he could do was to drink the isotonic drinks he had and rest longer.

“Urgh… even drinking water hurts…” said Jiang Fei after he drank the entire 2L bottle of energy drink.

“There, there.
No need to be angry at that.
You’ve made it!” said Ariel as she sat next to Jiang Fei and helped him with the bottle.

Tired, Jiang Fei dropped and leaned onto Ariel’s shoulder and slept.

Two hours later, Jiang Fei woke up and was able to stand on his two feet without wobbling like a drunkard.

“0541, make preparations.
We will stay for the night and return to China tomorrow morning!” said Jiang Fei.

It had been 10 days since he had started the search and Jiang Fei had roughly scoured through the entire North Pole.
After the first finding, Jiang Fei had lucked out on finding more ship parts.
After delivering the Interceptors to Han Tianyu, Jiang Fei would then proceed to the Bermuda Triangle to try his luck.
