It seems the level of a survivor does not rise unless he repeatedly attacks the monster directly.
I've been working as a survivor for a year, but for me, who doesn't have direct means of attacking, my level is still at Lv1.

Even so, if you become a survivor, the government will provide you with a single room and minimum living expenses.
And because I had a hard time living with my fatherless family, when the skill manifested in me, I didn't have the other choice.

My average current income is about 30,000 yen a month, and in the months where I made a little more money, I send it to my mother, even if it is just a little.
Still, compared to my previous lifestyle, this is much better.

Thanks to me becoming a survivor, I can even go to school now.
That is why, no matter how useless it may be, I am grateful for the skill that has manifested in me.

Because the request from the temporary member and the monster's position came from the smartphone type terminal, which is exclusive to survivors, I had to get ready immediately and rushed to the scene by bicycle.

I immediately activated my skill and got ready for the incoming battle.

“Michitaka-san, is that really goblin? It feels like it's bigger than usual”

“Although it is big, its appearance is nothing but a goblin.

Another party member started the [Fireball] skill.
Because the enemy monster was in a mounted position on the earlier survivor and the Fog was affecting its vision, it did not have the time to dodge.
Thanks to that, it got hit magnificently in the back.

The goblin was screaming.
Then, I caught a glimpse of Michitaka-san activating his [Wave Blade] skill, so I thought we could finish it like usual this time too.
Unfortunately, it didn't happen.

The goblin tanked the [Fireball] and stood up to fight back Michitaka-san.
It seemed the previous [Fireball] couldn't give a fatal injury to the goblin, and the goblin perfectly blocked Michitaka-san's [Wave Blade] from the front.

“Please keep attacking!”

I called out to the other party member who stopped moving and had him keep pressuring the goblin with the [Fireball].
I may be at the lowest level, but since I have the highest experience as the survivor among us, I gave out battle instructions on the spur of the moment.

The [Fireball] skill hit again in the defenseless back of the goblin, who was currently battling Michitaka-san.
And in that opening where the goblin flinched from the impact, Michitaka-san attacked again.

The goblin was slashed diagonally by the sword, which was manifested by the skill's effect.
Unfortunately, let alone defeating the goblin, Michitaka-san was directly hit by the right straight punch from the goblin’s counterattack and was blown away to the back.
