Pokémon: Amethyst of Victory

*BOOM*

”HUH!? ” Jerking up in his bed, rudely awoken, Victor looks side to side with confusion struck all across his face.

*ALARM GOING OFF*

”Your attention, please. Our Viridian City radar sensors have detected an aircraft belonging to a gang of Pokémon thieves. If you have a Pokémon in your possession, exercise extreme caution. ”

With a scowl on his face, Victor gets up from his bed to quickly get dressed. Picking up his belt with a pokeball attached, he heads downstairs. ”Now which bastard ruined my beauty sleep. ”

Running into a destroyed lobby, filled with smoke and broken glass, Victor prows for the intruders, scanning ever so slowly to find his victims for due justice.

Suddenly two pokeballs landed from the ceiling. With a flash of light a Koffing appears ”KOFFING! ” Following it a Ekans, ”EKANS! ” Immediately the Koffing released a smokescreen.

”Drax, Im gonna need your help here. ” Grabbing the pokeball off his belt Victor tosses in front of him.

”LAR ”

”Drax get ready for an attack through the smoke. ” Both tense at a moments drop, waiting for any sudden movements, but suddenly three silhouettes appear though the smoke.

”Don be frightened, little boy. ”

”Allow us to introduce ourselves. ”

”To protect the world from devastation… ”

”To unite all peoples within our nation… ”

”To denounce the evils of truth and love… ”

”To extend our reach to the stars above… ”

”Jessie. ” Says a woman with long red hair, a crop top and a very short skirt.

”James. ” Says a man with short blue hair. Both wearing a white outfit with a big letter R on the chest.

”Team rocket, blast off at the speed of light. ”

”Surrender now or prepare to fight. ”

”MEOWTH! Thats right. ” A talking Meowth coming out of nowhere suddenly says.

Rooted in place with a dumbfounded expression, Victor stares at the trio with a wide-eyed look.

*Cough Cough* with a clear in his throat Victor addresses the trio. ”Uuhhh, nice play I suppose? Pretty cute with the whole finishing each others sentences and all. ”

”This is no play little boy, don stand in our way or else. ” Jessie replies with a smirk. Raising his eyebrow at the red head, Victor taking a quick look over Jessie, he gives a quick nod.

”Alright then, lets get on with it, you woke me up from my sleep that I so dearly want to get back to. ”

”You asked for it brat, ” James says with a scowl.

”Koffing, attack! ”

”Ekans, go! ”

The floating Koffing starts to release more smoke, whilst with a lunge, Ekans attempts to attack Victor and Drax. With a role to avoid the sudden lunge, Victor gives a quick command to Drax.

”Drax use Tackle! ” After sidestepping the sudden attack, Drax immediately counters the Ekans with a quick tackle into the Pokémons side.

”LAAARR! ”

Taking the brute force to his side the Ekans screeches in pain, ”EKAAAANNS!! ” Before getting knocked out after hitting the wall.

”EKANS!, ” Screams Jessie running to pick up Ekans.

After quickly dealing with the Ekans, Drax focus switches over to the floating Koffing. ”Drax use leer! ” Hit with a sharp look, the Koffing wheezes sharply. ”KOFFINGGG! ”

”Koffing use tackle! ” James yells with worry.

Not needing a command, Drax side steps the tackle before hitting the koffing with his own tackle. Taking the hit, the Koffing launches into James who was standing behind him, knocking him over to the floor.

”Why is that Larvitar so strong! It wasn supposed to go like this! ” The hysterically screaming Jessie says.

”The only one left is that strange meowth Drax, you know what to do. ” Not needing anything more said, Drax prepares for his third battle.

”Jessie, James, this isn looking too good. Meowth! ” Recalling their pokemon into their pokeballs, Jessie and James run behind Meowth in fright.

In the distant background, theres a faint siren noise. The Team Rocket trio, not liking the sound of it, decide to make a run for it.

”This calls for a tactical retreat! ” James says with urgency.

”Well get our revenge little boy! ”

”Meowth! Thats right! ”

Before Victor or Drax could respond, James lifts his arm before throwing something to the ground, with a *POOF* smokes appear. Lowering his hands from his eyes, Victor looks toward the smoke, waiting for it to clear. After a minute it dissipates, but sadly the trio are long gone.

”Well shit. ” With a sigh Victor walks to the entrance, but a call to his back stops him.

”Victor! Are you okay!? ” A frantic Nurse Joy asks. ”I was hiding in the medical room with the other injured Pokémon in order to protect them after the alarm went off. But I heard you battling with those people so I ran out to check on you. Thankfully you didn need help, but Im still worried , are you injured anywhere!? ”

Smiling at the frantic pink headed nurse, ”Drax and I had everything under control, so no need for any worries. I had Drax only use Tackle to keep the destruction to the minimum, didn want to cause any more cleanup than needed. ” he says with a confident smile.

Adorning with a light blush to her cheeks, Nurse Joy responds, ”Thank you Victor for helping, if you weren here I can imagine how many Pokémon would have been stolen. ” Done with the talk, the two walk out to wait for the police. Not a minute later, a lady clad in a blue uniform with teal hair pulls up on a motorcycle.

”What happened here? ” She asks Nurse Joy, getting a run down from the situation she looks over to Victor waiting for his recount of the story. After a ten minute recount, ”Thank you for your help young man, without you I can imagine what wouldve happened. ” The lady in blue says with relief.

”No problem miss-? ”

”Sorry I forgot to introduce myself! Officer Jenny reporting for duty! ” She replies with a salute and a light chuckle.

”Well Officer Jenny with all that done, can I head back to bed now? ” Victor says after a long yawn.

”Of course, you
e free to go. Also youll be sent a reward, it should arrive by tomorrow morning. ” With a wave and yawn, Victor turns around to head back to bed.

Waking up the next morning, Victor received his reward from Officer Jenny in the form of money. With an extra 20k Pokedollars in his pocket, Victor decided to buy a few more things before he set off for Viridian Forest later today.

After a one last check up on Drax and a farewell to Nurse Joy, he set off for the PokeMart. With a bill of 15k, Victor was finally ready to resume his journey after a 2 week stay in Viridian City, purchasing some food and training tools for his stay in the forest, Victor set off with plans for his stay. His main goal for this trip was to catch a new Pokémon or two in preparation for his battle with the Pewter Gym Leader. With a packed bag and a new goal, Victor set off for his next adventure.

A/N Hurt my lat at the gym, im in so much pain 🙁

I didn include ash into this event as you can see, im still not entirely sure on what im gonna do with the dude to be honest, might just not include him at all.

I also ended watching the episode of Team Rocket attacking the Poke Center as you can see, its been a while since I last saw the show, still surprising to see how old it is compared to what I remembered as a kid.
