Wei Zhe’s secretary was a young man who looked to be in his twenties.
He wore a delicate and proper gray suit, and his carefully side parted hair was combed back behind ears, showing his mature and handsome appearance.
Wei Zhe had developed a deep trust in him as they graduated from the same college and it had been years since they first met each other.

This mature and reliable secretary carried the delicately packed food and, with a proper smile, he knocked on the door of Wei Zhe’s small apartment.

Secretary Xu was perplexed as to why the boss lived in such a small and crowded apartment when he had both wealth and connections?

“Um…hi.” The person who answered the door was a teenager that was about twelve years old, with a pretty appearance and a brow dark as if it was painted with ink.
He looked up at the man.
“Are you the person who Big Brother called to deliver me dinner?”

Secretary Xu sighed in awe inwardly as he was shocked by the child’s handsomeness.

He had heard that his boss was raising a child in his own house, who was said to be the boss’ younger brother who had the same father, but different mother from boss.
The two of them had a close relationship; Boss even broke away from the Wei family because of the child, which led to him developing such a powerful force now.

Secretary Xu even exclaimed to his friend about his boss’ generosity.
If either of his parents had an illegitimate child, he couldn’t even wait to choke the child.

But today…he met the real person unexpectedly.

Hm! He did have a pretty good looking face, but he made the boss lose all of his rationality only using his appearance??? Not to mention that there are so many good looking people in this world? How come he was the one who got favored?

“Um…do I have anything on my face?”

The man’s focused face revealed explicit examination of some sort, making Wei Jing feel weird and uncomfortable, as if he was the test subject locked inside a glass cage and someone would eventually approach him to rip off his skin.

“Ah?” The man was stunned, then quickly retrieved his expression after he reacted.
With much consideration and an honest smile, he handed the things on his hand over to the child.
“I bought some easily digestible noodles and side dishes.
Hope you will like it.”

Wei Jing was stunned by the man’s sudden change in expression and only replied “oh!” in a paralyzed manner.

“Hope you enjoy your meal.”

Wei Jing: =-=

Such a nice secretary, but why act like a delivery guy? Was he supposed to give him a 5 star rating now?

Secretary Xu: … Why did the child look at me with that face? Did I do something weird?

After Wei Jing said a soft thank you to Secretary Xu, he carried the delivery to the dining table and started to unpack them as the delicious smell of the food wafted into his nose.
It was noodle cooked in broth, with a tender, yellow egg on top of it.
With the addition of some side dishes, it was a really nice choice for supper.

Wei Jing was so immersed in his drawing that it was already eleven in the blink of an eye.

Big Brother was already asleep.
Wei Jing sat around the dining table alone with his bowl of noodles.
He picked up the soft and smooth noodles with his chopsticks and ate slowly, his empty stomach stopped complaining as it was filled up.
As he finished the last sip of the soup, Wei Jing let out a satisfying “Aaaa”.

Um! Feels so nice!

The satisfied Little Wei Jing rubbed his white and smooth tummy and started to tidy up the things on the table by — piling them together.

He was a housework noob afterall.

Feeling good about himself, he headed to sleep.

As a result, the Wei Zhe who had a hangover last night saw the mess on the table and knew exactly who did this.
He rubbed his forehead silently and went ahead to throw everything into the trash can.

God knew how much he wanted to throw the entire dining table along with the trash when he first saw the scene.

The sky just started to reveal some light.
A ray of bright light lit up half of the sky as the darkness of the night gradually faded.
Everyone is welcoming a brand new day.

The maid arrived on the dot and greeted her employer with a warm smile.
She carried the fresh vegetables to the kitchen and started to prepare breakfast for the Wei brothers.

Breakfast was already placed on the dining table when Wei Jing woke up.

As usual, the two of them ate breakfast together.
Wei Zhe then sent Wei Jing to school and gave his daily advice, and finally shut his mouth upon seeing Wei Jing’s helpless face.
The chauffeur who already got used to seeing this sat quietly in the front.

Wei Jing was extremely nervous when he went into his teacher’s office with his finished drawing from last night.
He was afraid that his drawing wasn’t good enough and it would disappoint his teacher.

So when he saw the two other contestants with their drawings, also standing in the office, he wanted to turn around and leave!!! What timing? If there was only his teacher, it would be fine if he thought the drawing is ugly, and the worst thing that could happen was to take his spot, but now…

“Little junior, you’re also here! What a coincidence!” An upperclassman in her third year of middle school greeted Wei Jing with a smile.

“Yeah, so coincidental!” Wei Jing had nothing more to say and could only smile reluctantly.

It seems more than a coincidence!
