I Became the Villain’s Trainer

It already happened by the time Alexa shouted.
Ysildus already had his head buried in the sack and turned to look at Alexa.
He fell into Alexa’s arms while waving his tail.
Alexa and the maids looked at the pantry with bewildered expressions. 

 

“…I can’t live…” Alexa mumbled involuntarily.

 

Was it wrong to bring in a lot of sweet potatoes for winter?

 

The box was torn apart.
He chewed on the box by inserting his snout into the gap made by the handle to make it easier to lift the box, and then ate the sweet potato that protruded through the gap. 

 

There were about 10 boxes, all of which had large holes.
Besides, what was in the sack was grain for the winter, but it was still unpolished rice. 

 

Alexa stared blankly at Ysildus, who had rice all over his white fur.

 

 

“Arf!”

 

Ysildus happily showed his belly with a face knowing that what he had done was wrong.
His pink belly was full.
Alexa poked him in his stomach. 

 

“Aikoo… it’s solid.”

 

The maids burst out laughing at Alexa’s muttering.

 

“You must have enjoyed it.”

 

She knew that dogs wouldn’t be able to usually eat sweet potatoes. But, he ate raw sweet potato like this… 

 

Alexa hugged Ysildus and lifted him up.
It looks he became heavier.
She let out a sigh as she slightly shake Ysildus to shook off  the rice on him. 

 

 

“You troublemaker!”

 

“Arf!”

 

“What did you do well…”

 

She tried to get angry at him, but she soon lost her courage when she saw Ysildus wagged his tail with a so-called ‘dejected expression’. 

 

Alexa stood up holding Ysildus.

 

“…I need to brush his fur.
I think the rice wouldn’t fall off easily….”

 

“Yes, Miss Alexa.
Don’t worry about it, and you can go back.”

 

“Of course! I’m so glad that he dug up sweet potatoes, not the furniture.”

 

“Right, right!”

 

The maids responded and burst into laughter.
Alexa patted Ysildus in the ass.

 

“I really shouldn’t take my eyes off you.”

 

“Kiiiing… king!”

 

Ysildus whined, but Alexa rubbed her face against his head as if nothing had happened.
His nose came up to her.
She cannot hate him as there was nothing about him that wasn’t cute.  

 

It would’ve been strange now if Ysildus didn’t cause any accidents. 

 

‘As long as he’s healthy, it’s alright.’

 

After wandering through the castle, Alexa comforted herself while embracing Ysildus, who had strong muscles.

Similar kinds of things happened a few times in Thersion.
There were times when Visten had to make decisions that were beyond his capability, and Alexa would give him the correct answer each time. 

 

Visten didn’t question the source of her knowledge as he knew that Alexa usually enjoys reading in the library.
No, actually, simple-minded wolves were unable to show their sharp instincts unless they were a threat.
Only those that have accepted that fact would have become very dull. 

 

Alexa was perfectly positioned in the vicinity of Thersion as part of them.
In the meantime, the year Alexa was counting passed by.
This one year means that Han Yu-Hee became Alexa. 

 

‘I’m not dead.’

 

Opening her eyes, Alexa muttered with the one year and a day that had passed.

 

‘I’m alive!’

 

According to the person who made Han Yu-Hee into Alexa, she would definitely die a year latre, and it was also decided that way in the novel as well.

The useful value of the character named Alexa was to show kindness towards Ysildus and take care of his meals.

 

Nevertheless, her name was probably mentioned because Selina took care of Ysildus based on her actions.
If you think about it, Selina and Alexa were young girls with similar looks and circumstances.
The only difference was that Alexa recognized Ysildus as a passing stray dog. 

 

Selina had seen Alexa taking care of Ysildus a few times, and she used it to work as a maid of the Grand Duchy and tame Ysildus.
Given their causal relationship, it’s not like Alexa completely stole Selina’s life. 

 

Alexa curled up and stared curiously at the sleeping ball of fur.
It is hard to believe that this little wolf is the main character that shortened Alexa’s lifespan.
However, Alexa has already succeeded in surviving her fate of one year.

 

‘I can do better in the future.’

Alex couldn’t contain the rush of her emotions and rolled over as she hugged Ysildus.
Surprised, Ysildus raised his head up and barked at her. 

 

“Ysu, Ysu!!”

 

“Arf! Kiiiiiing!”

 

Putting his front paw on Alexa’s face as he tried to pull himself up with a whimper, Ysildus let out a sudden sigh. 

 

Alexa let out a shrill laugh.
As if Ysildus had given up, he buried his head in Alexa’s arms.

“She survived…?”

 

The grim reaper who was in charge of Han Yu-Hee looked back at his axe-eyed superior. 

 

“Good job, good job.
So what if we put her into an unfinished world?”

 

“But, there was no room left for her!” 

 

“I told you to hit the stone bridge too!” 

 

People killing themselves by suicide were usually sent to a finished or created world to fill their lives.
This was the law of the Underworld – sending souls to create a parallel world like the world someone created. 

 

This was to strike a balance between the afterlife and the realm, but this time, a defector named Han Yu-Hee occurred.
That was why he wasn’t sending her soul to a world that hasn’t seen the ending yet!! He left it to the newbie but the work was now ruined. 

 

“Alexa was originally destined to die within a year, senior!”

 

“How can you be so sure! Don’t you know that death isn’t certain until you see the end? Do you still believe in the fortress creators?”

 

The grim reaper who was called senior touched his head.

The senior driver, who burst in anger, paced  back and forth.
That is why these days, things are out of their mind and they cannot be trusted with work.

Because she didn’t forget that she was just hired just as she first signed a contract with Visten, and that there is a female lead who will be the hostess of the villainous family. 

 

It was essential for the male lead Ysildus, who was walking the path of darkness, the existence of a female lead to help him come to his senses and transform him into a humane Benz male lead.
But strangely enough, there was no maid named ‘Selina’ existing in the Grand Duchy no matter how much she searched for her. 

 

(T/N: The word ‘Benz’ might have meant to say that the female lead’s existence will turn Ysildus from a no-named car to a branded ‘Benz’ car – from a villainous male lead to a humane male lead.

‘How on earth did this happen?’

 

She secretly asked the butler to ask Visten, but he said there was no one like that. 

 

‘…He said that it was true she was a member of the wolf clan.
Should I search the whole estate?’ 

 

That was impossible for Alexa to do alone.
She had an intuition that the novel could perhaps have been completely distorted by her intervention. 

 

So one of the things Alexa does every day is, “Alright Ysu, sit down!”

 

She waved the smoked salmon snack in front of Ysu, who was looking at her with bright eyes.
Ysu’s eyes moved in the same direction Alexa’s  hands moved.
His pink nose twitched, and the smell of the salmon seemed to make his dog’s ass shake. 

 

“Listen to me, Ysu,” Alexa said bitterly, “You have to remember me, alright?”

 

He won’t probably understand me if I speak for a long time.

 

“Remember! Me!”

 

Remember how good I was to you, alright?

 

Whether the dog understands it or not, he tilted his head.
He then pants and flickers his pink tongue. 

 

“Noona.”

 

“Hmm?”

 

“Why does noona tell Ysu to remember her everyday?”
