”There is another wielder ” a lady with blue eyes uttered in a cave

She stares at the wall for some minutes with her eyes wide with shock. She turns around and sits on the ground with her back relaxing on the wall. She pulls her legs to get to her chin and hugs them.

A beeping sound reverberates through the cave and she removes a circular object from her pocket and places it before her. She clicks a button and a hologram of a young man appears. ”So its true? ” the man inquired having the same countenance as the woman before him

The lady puts herself together and stands. ”Use the drones and find her. If possible, end her ” the lady commanded then the hologram closes ”I can lose another one ” she whispers

Science and technology have taken over. Drones do not only act as cameras but security guards and billboards. Roads are always maintained as no portholes can be seen in any with the help of machines controlled by experts.

Cars and other vehicles are advanced to the extent that no one will ever realise they are androids. These androids do not necessarily need fossil fuels to run. People living in this part of the world can hardly be called humans or complete humans as most of them have a chip or two inserted into them giving them special abilities. Some have turned themselves into half-robots. A few humans lack the funds to get the transplant and some do not want to take their existence to such a level.

Stephanie, a young girl of average height, walks slowly with her hands in her pockets with her gaze focused on the ground. She looks up at the drones moving around acting like security guards in the vicinity and some moving about carrying out one duty or the other with her brown eyes.

She has on a black bikers jacket over a red crop top and black trousers with a black flare-heeled boots. Her hair which falls over her back with its length an inch close to her waist moves to the beat of the air.

She studies her environment not once stopping her movements. She wants to put all of it in her memories before leaping, leaving everything forever. A few tear droplets fall to the ground as she has her head slightly bent remembering the reason for taking her decision.

She quickly wipes her face getting rid of the tears as she tells herself that it is unnecessary and hastens her pace.

In no time she gets to a bridge that is still under construction and stops in her tracks. She takes her gaze above her in search of drones, seeing that none is hovering around. She takes a look around for any security guards or construction workers.

Its a Thursday and construction workers don usually come to work. Since no drones or security guards were protecting the bridge then they must have guarded the bridge in other ways.

She takes out a red marble from her pocket and tosses it on the bridge. Normally, a road or bridge closed without a police drone or security guard is usually protected or guarded by a laser that would inflict serious damage to the object or person even an android but no laser was triggered.

Stephanie raises her brow at this. Her lips curve up slightly as she feels it was stupid to use a marble to test the laser instead of using herself as the test object since it would give her the same ending as the one her mission was surrounded by.

Her face goes numb as she walks over the barricade with a single step with her hands inserted in her pocket. She picks up the marble and plays with it using her fingers before putting it back where it came from.

I guess today is my lucky day… not. She thought as she walked to the edge of the almost completed bridge. She looks over the flowing water below the bridge. A few tear drops escape her eyes and she allows them to flow for a while as she keeps her gaze fixated on the sea before her. She wipes it away as she has had enough of her tears.

”Ive made this decision out of pure spite and hate for both myself and humanity. Having a big heart makes a person happy but most of the time it brings discomfort and pain. Ive had a few friends who kept me sane but I can no longer stay that way. Love is one thing that has crushed my soul and heart as a teenager ”

”I can share this pain with anyone because I know I would never be understood. This is the place to die. In no time, I believe a drone or security guard will come by and spot my body and in less than an hour, mum will be informed of my death ”

She squats and continues with her thoughts
