With a full moon over the ancient necropolis helping to illuminate the area it made it easier to keep grinding later into the night for An-Dhur. As he passed between graves long forgotten and uncared for searching for the smallest of sounds or signs of his targets to finally respawn, waiting for the familiar boring pattern to play out.

”Why do these trash mobs have a random spawn time its so much down time in this stupid beginner zone ” sighing in frustration after 10 hours of farming so far today.

With the abilities of a 60th level necromancer the graveyard was cleared by his summons in 3 minutes wiping out every skeleton in sight, but his prize was a rare skeleton that he had only seen 15 times so far, and all the mobs took 5-15 minutes to respawn. Months have been spent grinding this place for just one item from the focus of his ire the Skeleton ruler. The item being [The ring of Command] a rare item that would allow him to become multiple times more powerful instantly despite its low level host it sadly had a 1% drop rate.

The ring granted the power to ignore level restrictions on the rulers undead summons, for the Skeleton ruler it made him a field boss with 4 skeleton guards at his level a difficult fight for a low-level party so it was often avoided when the game started anyway. However, the ring in the hands of a Legion necromancer removed the penalty effect of summons only being able to be 2/3rd of your level.

Of course, the benefit of the Legion path allowed them to summon 5 times as much up to 50 than the other paths maximum of 10 why it would have such a huge effect. The ring owned by the current number 1 Legion Necromancer Kane who used it since it dropped all those years ago, a secret that had only recently come to light. The benefit of the fact first kills of field bosses guarenteed a drop in the game.

The sounds of fresh spawns pulled his attention immediately sending his legion to crush the weak skeletons and keep grinding.

An-Dhur rubbed his hands in the cold sighing with regret at the pathetic amounts of xp and lack of rare spawn. Killing the same mobs more than one hundred times stopped awarding more than 1 XP but there were some titles for perseverance making it harder to keep motivated while grinding.

[Undead crusher- kill 1000 skeletons]

[+1% dps against Undead]

[Destroyer of Undead- kill 5000 Undead]

[+5% dps against undead]

Apparently, some players tried to grind more of diffrent types of creatures in the beginning but after 25,000 and no more titles people stopped and moved onto other grinds.

Maybe those 3 points in luck would help with his hunt, allocating points the last few times always makes him think back to past mistakes. All those wasted stats in body skills, luck and divinity never did a thing for him he was a caster with a legion if he needed to personally fight, he was messing up and not planning. He had spent wisely in intelligence but only once he could break the 200 level could he access the much more powerful spells of his class. So many mistakes and missed chances leaving a bitter taste as he stood watching his legion cutting down the few remaining skeletons of this spawn, the bitterest being starting months late and that stats once applied were permanent.

[ First to Kill 100,000 undead]

[Title acquired – Undeaths bane]

Unique

[Undeaths bane- 15% more damage to undead creatures]

”Wait what… there is a title for that 15% is broken? ” An-Dhur commented in confusion.

”Is there one for all types of creatures, this is unheard of… its unique so I am the only one! ” with a level of excitement he hadn felt for a long time.

After a second of disbelief a massive smile spread over his face, ”When I get the ring, I could farm this title for other types. This could be my way to finally catch up and overcome this rut ”.

”I could become a high ranker even with my mistakes ”laughing surrounded by his legion he felt better than he had for a long time.

Never has a wait for a respawn been so enjoyable, being eager to see the change in clearing speed of this legion with the new buff. He had grinded all the titles he was able too once title hunters had posted the basic ones and even the unique ones, they claimed which become prestige for them. This was the first time he discovered one and it was a great feeling, he could even post it after getting more for himself. ”I will be a famous title hunter as soon as this is posted eventually others would have done it but too late its my title! ”.

Processing the possibilities, he was thinking of the most efficient spots to grind each type. More and more came to mind as they were the same spots people used to farm the 5000 kill titles, it could be easier than he thought. There were multiple better undead spawns that his current farm, but his target came back to mind. The ring was still something he needed badly and needed to be his first focus.

The sound of the new respawn starting grabbed his focus sending the legion out as usual till he saw it the Skeleton ruler. ”Maybe those 3 points in luck are making all the difference ” a smile breaking out before sliding away just as quickly as it formed ” of course not so lets get serious ”.

Ignoring all the other skeletons the legion 50 strong was sent to wipe out the level 14 field boss with its 4 guards.
